Climate Protection
THROUGH THE ECOLOGICAL CULTIVATION OF THE HEALTHY AVOCADO, WHICH IS SO VALUABLE FOR A SUSTAINABLE DIET. ON THE ISLAND OF MALLORCA, WHICH HAS AN EXCELLENT CLIMATE FOR IT. WE MANAGE TO SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE THE CO2 POLLUTION BY ELIMINATING THE LONG TRANSPORT ROUTES FOR THE IMPORT OF THE FRUIT FROM SOUTH AMERICA, AND THUS MAKE A SUSTAINABLE AND MEASURABLE CONTRIBUTION TO CLIMATE PROTECTION.
Water Saving
THROUGH IRRIGATION WITH RAINWATER AND INTELLIGENT COMPUTER-CONTROLLED DRIP IRRIGATION WITH SOIL SENSORS, WE SAVE WATER, BECAUSE ONLY IRRIGATED WHEN THE TREES REALLY NEED WATER.
Soil Conservation
THROUGH NATURAL FERTILIZATION WITHOUT CHEMICALS WITH SHEEP AND HORSE MANURE WE PROTECT THE SOIL BECAUSE MANURE CONTAINS EVERYTHING THE TREES NEED FOR HEALTHY GROWTH.
Bee Protection
BY CREATING OF A NECTAR-RICH HABIT FOR ENDANGERED WILD AND HONEY BEES, WHICH AT THE SAME TIME CONTRIBUTE TO THE POLLINATION OF TREES AND KEEP THEIR HONEY, WE PROTECT THE BEES AND KEEP THEM HEALTHY.
Soil Conservation
THROUGH COOPERATION WITH AGRICULTURAL AND BEE RESEARCH INSTITUTES, FURTHER RESEARCH WILL BE CONDUCTED INTO CO2 REDUCTION, WATER CONSERVATION AND BEE HEALTH. BY HOLDING THEMED LESSONS IN SCHOOLS, FUTUTE GENERATIONS WILL BE EDUCATED ABOUT AVOCADOS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE FOR HEALTH, CLIMATE AND BEE PROTECTION.

You support our project?
We are very happy about a donation or a long-term partnership with a monthly contribution. Your donation will help us to purchase and plant the trees, fence the plantation, build adventure trails through the plantation, purchase bee colonies and build wild bee hotels. This will enable us, and therefore you, to advance research into climate and environmental protection through avocado cultivation in Europe and significantly improve the carbon footprint by eliminating long transport routes for importing the fruit, while also saving water through intelligent irrigation. Every donation helps to implement and further develop the project and thus to stop climate change in the long run and to preserve our earth. As a non-profit limited liability company, we are entitled to issue our donors with a tax-recognized donation receipt, which we will of course send to each donor.

Sustainability
Our project is designed for the long term. With the help of your donations, we can plant trees to capture CO2, buy bee colonies and build wild bee hotels to provide a livelihood for the bees. We can also fence the plantation and purchase the irrigation system and associated software to measure water consumption.
Accordingly, your donation contributes sustainably to climate, environmental and bee protection, while at the same time promoting science and research in the cultivation of avocados in Europe and the health of bees, which are so important for the preservation of biodiversity and the global economy.
Openness
All donors can of course visit and tour our plantation in Mallorca, walk on the adventure trails and get a personal picture of the project and the positive effects. Take a look at what we needed and used your donation for. Of course, we handle all donations responsibly and transparently show what they were used for. We also cordially invite all our donors to our Majorcado Festival in Mallorca, which we organize once or twice a year, where our donors and all guests can experience our plantation and our bees and enjoy our European avocados.
Transparency
As a pilot project, we want to be a role model for others to do something similar socially responsible to advance climate protection and the protection of our bees in Europe. As our donor and/or partner, you have a big part in this. All research and study results achieved within our project, as well as the actual water and other consumption values are documented by us and published regularly. In this way we can effectively prove the CO2 reduction and the minimization of water consumption, through intelligent irrigation, and also make the values available to our donors and partners for their own use.
Education
About the importance of climate, environmental and bee protection, because we cooperate with schools and hold free themed lessons on bee protection, the healthy ingredients of avocados, their utilization possibilities and the advantages of a European plantation under climate and environmental aspects. We explain the project to the students, show the effects on climate and water consumption and invite the students to do class work on the topics of our project and to visit our plantation on Mallorca with their families and plant a tree there themselves and research fertilization and water consumption.
Also, cooperating schools receive some of our avocados free of charge as a break snack.
Social-Media
In order to reach a broad public and to inspire for climate, environmental and bee protection on the one hand and on the other hand to keep you as our donors always up to date on our project and thus the use of your donations, we publish all events, innovations and further developments of the project on the social media channels Instagram and Facebook. This way, you as a donor can follow the use of your donations and also experience it without having to be on site yourself. Of course, our corporate partners are also provided with images and updated information about our project to publish on their own social media channels, so that the reach of the project and thus the awareness of people for the importance of climate, environmental and bee protection increases continuously.
Majorcadofest
Once or twice a year, we organize a “Majorcadofest” on our plantation, to which we invite our donors, corporate partners and all interested parties in person and via local and European media, the project website and social media channels. The purpose of the celebration is to introduce and publicize the project while enjoying the culinary delights of our avocados planted in Europe. All donors, partners and interested guests will also have the opportunity to visit the plantation, explore the adventure trails and exchange ideas with beekeepers, gardeners, scientists and each other. Our corporate partners also have the opportunity to present themselves and to exchange and network with other partners and our guests, thus expanding their own network.
What happens with the Avocados?
All avocados are mainly sold locally and exclusively within Europe in order to keep the transport distances as short as possible and thus the CO2 impact as low as possible. All proceeds from the sale of the avocados flow back into the project and are used for the purchase of new trees, to keep the bees healthy and to further develop the project.
